Medical Titanium Plates – Engineered for Implant‑Grade Reliability
When your production line relies on raw material quality, you cannot afford surprises. Our medical titanium plates are manufactured specifically for surgical implants and medical devices – not industrial leftovers repackaged as "medical grade." Every plate meets either ASTM F67 (Grade 2 commercially pure) or ASTM F136 (Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V ELI) , the two global standards for implantable titanium.
What Makes Our Medical Titanium Plates Different?
1. Certified to the Right Standards – No Substitutions
We do not sell "equivalent" materials. Each plate comes with a Mill Test Report (MTR) listing exact chemical composition and mechanical properties. Grade 5 ELI oxygen content is kept at ≤0.13% for maximum ductility and fracture toughness – critical for thin orthopedic plates and dental bars.
2. Full Traceability – From Ingot to Your Machining Center
Every order includes batch numbers and heat numbers. You can trace the plate back to the original titanium sponge. This is not an option – it is our standard procedure for medical clients.
3. Tight Tolerances for Predictable Machining
Thickness tolerance is held to ±0.05 mm. Flatness across the plate is ≤0.1 mm. Surface finish Ra ≤0.8 µm (milled or ground). No hidden warpage, no oxide scale, no pits that would ruin your CNC tooling or laser cutting.
4. Custom Sizes – Cut Exactly to Your Nesting Pattern
We offer plates in thicknesses from 2 mm to 50 mm and widths up to 600 mm. Length is cut to your specification. Common dental sizes: 98(95)×10/12/14/16/18/20/22/25mm,Common orthopedic sizes:100×200 mm, 150×300 mm. If you need an odd dimension – just ask.
5. Fast Delivery – Keep Your Production Running
Standard sizes ship within 3‑5 business days. Custom orders typically leave our warehouse in 10‑12 days. We understand that inventory carrying costs matter – we help you stock less and order just in time.
Typical Applications – Where Our Plates Are Used
Orthopedic: Locking compression plates, intramedullary nails, spinal fusion cages, suture anchors, bone screws
Dental: Custom CAD/CAM abutments (titanium bases), subperiosteal plates, full‑arch implant frameworks (All‑on‑4 / All‑on‑6), RPD metal bases
Surgical instruments: Lightweight, corrosion‑resistant tool components
Quick Technical Summary
Grade 2 (Commercially Pure, ASTM F67) – Minimum tensile strength of 345 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of 20% or higher. This grade is soft, very ductile, and easy to machine – ideal for healing abutments, transfer copings, and single‑unit restorations where high strength is not the primary need.
Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI, ASTM F136) – Minimum tensile strength of 860 MPa, yield strength of 795 MPa, and elongation of 10% or higher. This grade is approximately 2.5 times stronger than Grade 2, making it the first choice for load‑bearing implants, thin‑wall abutments, and long‑span bridges.
Both grades are available with the same tight thickness tolerance of ±0.05 mm and surface finish Ra ≤0.8 µm.
Who Trusts Our Plates?
Our medical titanium plates are exported to more than 50 countries worldwide, trusted by dental labs and orthopedic device manufacturers. Each shipment is backed by ISO 13485 documentation and a complete quality package.
