1. The process flow of titanium and titanium alloy bars, including the preparation of titanium sponge, melting of titanium ingots, forging, grinding of finished products, straightening, annealing and strengthening, and rolling finishing.
2. In terms of the chemical composition control of bars, the standard of GB/T 3620.1 must be followed to clarify the grades and chemical composition requirements of titanium and titanium alloys. If multiple verifications are required, the allowable deviation range of the chemical composition should be established in accordance with GB/T 3620.2.
3. The dimensional accuracy of bars is also important. The diameter or side length of the bars after hot processing and their allowable deviation must comply with relevant standards. The allowable diameter deviation of bars that have been turned (polished) and cold rolled or cold drawn must also meet specific regulations.
4. In addition, the out-of-roundness of bars that have been hot processed and turned (polished) shall not exceed half of the dimensional tolerance to ensure the shape accuracy of the bars.
5. Regarding the length control of the bar, the length of the processed bar is between 300 and 6000 mm, while the length of the annealed bar is limited to 300 to 2000 mm. The fixed length or multiple length must be within the range of the fixed length, and the allowable deviation of the fixed length is ±20 mm. The multiple length must also take into account the cut of the bar, and each cut is 5 mm. The fixed length or multiple length should be clearly marked in the contract to ensure that the length of the bar meets the customer's needs.
